A apple a day keeps the doctor away

My mum and i, even when we make the same fruit, it still looks diffrent.
We used the same color fimo.
Tinted it with calk before baking.
After baking and cooling down, we give it a coat of gloss varnish.
My mum made pears. (sorry for the blurry photo)
 I made paprika's.
 I love the colors together.
I made a half crate of little tomatoes.
I did not glue the boxes to the cart yet, so i can change the combination if i want.
Do you like it so far?
Any questions....please don't be shy and ask.
Hugs

My mum's tutorials

 Knitting for bear-girl and bear-boy.
Easy way of making a spiderweb.
Both in the May issue of Dollshouse Nederland
I am so proud of her.

Also in this issue: Lisette from Lisette's miniaturen is talking about the shop she made herself.
If your not familiar with her blog please take a look, she is very talented and has a very nice blog.

Yesterday my mum and me made some apples for the fruitcart.
Photo's are coming soon.
Wish you all a very nice day.

Banana boxes and a greengrocer.

My mum and i glued together the bananaboxes that i printed earlier.
I saw them at a site more then a year ago and printed them on my work.
Sorry girls and guys, i don't remember were they from.
If you have them on your site or know were you can find them, please let me know.
Then we painted a part of the inside a matching color.
So you don't see the white when they are filled.
I made a little crate also and ofcourse my mother is 10 or better say 20 steps ahaid and she made the perfect man to sell her fruit and veggies.
She made him out of Fimo with a flexable body.
Dressed him with a nice sweater, jeans and a cap. all made by herself.
Look at his shoes aren't they fit for standing a long time?
She used barbie shoes and painted them.
He has a moustache (and hair) from real hair.
I love how she made his jeans, they even got pockets.
I have to make a man or woman too for my cart, but i don't think mine is a beautiful as this guy.
I am not good in making dolls.
But i give it a try anyway.
You only get better in doing things by practice it a lot.
Bey bey, see you next time.

Happy Easter

Happy Easter to all my readers and followers.

This is one of the first dolls my mother made for me, she has a job in the Candyshop i made years ago.
The Candy filled Easter Bunny she is holding, i made from a see true straw filled with cake decoration. The Bunny's face i made from fimo and the collar is made from a piece of doily.

Day 2 of the fruit carts

 Our carts.
 Mums cart
 My cart
 from above
We had a lot of fun last night.
Me with another layer and mum with her high closs finish.
We both made letters. We tryed to put the rub on letters on, but it was not sticking that well.
So we had to paint over it to fill in the gabs, now you can read the letters.
They are not perfect at all, but i kind of like it.
Next week we are going to make the crates and the middle part to hold the crates in an angle.
Hugs
Maria
